The PACU team is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) to coordinate a cohesive and communicative unit, focusing on delivering positive patient outcomes and achieving the department's goals.
Responsibilities
- Assist with management of the post-anesthesia care unit PACU and act as an example of high-quality nursing practices for the nursing staff
- Work with the Nurse Manager to develop and execute training programs for the PACU nursing team; Motivate staff with team-building exercises and compassionate communication
- Ensure reported post-patient care processes and care plans are executed, logged, and updated regularly in the Electronic Medical Record EMR system
- Advocate for open communication while providing motivation to achieve positive patient outcomes and departmental goals.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current RN License in Oregon
- Clinical nursing experience in fields such as PACU, Post-Surgery, etc.
- Leadership/supervisor nursing experience
