Responsibilities of the CST Surgical Technologist

• Sterilize equipment
• Arrange and handle equipment properly
• Collaborate with surgeons and nurses
• Assist with operating room procedures
• Follow clinical procedures and policies
• Maintain safety and compliance throughout surgical dept
• Communicate respectfully with healthcare team

 
Requirements for the CST Surgical Technologist

• Certified CST
• Associate’s Degree in Surgical Technology
• Experience as CST Surgical Technologist
• Experience with Open Heart Surgeries
