Position: NP/PA Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant CT Cardiothoracic Surgery

Salary: $111,000 - $160,000 + Full Benefits

The ARRA Group, a boutique healthcare recruitment firm, has partnered with our hospital client to hire a motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or a Physician Assistant (PA-C) for their Cardiothoracic Surgery team.

The surgery team needs an NP or PA-C with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail to support high-quality care throughout the CTICU and PACU.
 
Responsibilities:

• Assist with the evaluation of cardiothoracic patients within the CTICU and PACU; Perform daily rounding, medication reconciliations, progress notes/tertiary surveys, and discharge orders
• Report to the Lead Advanced Practice Provider and Cardiothoracic Surgeon to carry out the plan of care; Provide regular patient progress updates to the Surgeon and APP team
• Communicate with patients on the preparation of all aspects of postoperative care and post-discharge follow-up; Collaborate with physicians to revise or refine post-care plans based on the best patient and financial outcomes
• Act as a patient advocate, listening and communicating with compassion to the patient's and their family's concerns and feedback

Requirements:

• MSN, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, OR Graduate Degree from an accredited PA school
• Current Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant PA in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• 2+ years of experience in Cardiothoracic Care, CT Surgery, Cardiovascular, Thoracic, or a related field
