Responsibilities of the Child/Adolescent Behavioral Health Therapist LCSW, LMFT, LPC:
- Facilitate groups for PHP (Partial Hospitalization Programs) and IOP (Intensive Outpatient Programs)
- Innovate and provide personalized mental/behavioral health treatment for child and adolescent patients
- Compassionately encourage patients to discuss emotions and experiences
- Utilize evidence-based, specialized therapy methods for children
- Conduct healthy individual, groups of 5-10 patients and family therapy sessions
- Develop unique child/adolescent treatment plans
- Provide insightful care on issues dealing with abuse, trauma, bipolar, anxiety, depression and various mental health issues
- CT licensure or working to complete LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LADC, or Psychologist REQUIRED
- Masters Degree Required
- Experience in child and adolescent psychiatry a plus
- 2+ years psychiatric mental health clinical experience
- Familiarity with EPIC software a plus
