This well-known and growing medical center is hiring a new Radiation Oncology Manager who will oversee their advanced outpatient staff.
The Radiation Therapist Manager will assist current staff in performing Radiation Therapy services provided by the department, such as External Beam Therapy, SRS, IORT, HDR for Skin Cancer, and more.
An ideal candidate is ARRT certified and can use their knowledge and skills to continue to achieve the unit’s strategic goals.

Responsibilities of the Clinical Manager Radiation Oncology (Certified Radiation Therapist):
- Oversee Outpatient Radiation Oncology Unit Staff, 20+ FTEs
- Assist department physicians with their individual needs to practice radiation oncology
- Coordinate and manage the daily responsibilities of the Radiation Oncology therapy staff
- Act as a mentor and educator to current Radiation Oncology therapists
- Assess current procedures and processes and implement creative solutions to department
- Collaborate with the Radiation Oncology Unit Directors to manage financial resources, staff resources, and job orientation
- Assist in the administration of radiation treatment to oncology patients when needed
- Encourage the practice of evidence-based care
- Act as a liaison between unit therapy staff and department directors
- Communicate respectfully with outpatient patients and families about diagnoses and treatments
Requirements for the Clinical Manager Radiation Oncology (Certified Radiation Therapist):
- Associate degree in related field required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Radiation Therapy ARRT Certification REQUIRED
- 3+ years experience in leadership/supervisory role
- Experience in Radiation Oncology
