Responsibilities for the Clinical RN Nurse Manager- Pediatric Behavioral and Mental Health:
Manage psychiatric behavioral health nursing staff
Bring the latest adolescent mental health treatment approaches for disorders and mental health issues such as youth depression, anxiety, bipolar, schizophrenia, and PTSD
Ensure safety and compliance throughout pediatric behavioral health department
Create and follow up on youth / pediatric patient care plans
Evaluate and improve methodology, productivity, and workflow to achieve the highest value of care
Collaborate efficiently with a robust multidisciplinary children’s pediatric care team, including nurses, physicians, social workers, and other clinical care providers
Promote compassionate and evidence-based care for every child
Evaluate, assess, educate, and mentor psychiatric behavioral health nursing staff
Requirements for the Clinical RN Nurse Manager- Pediatric Behavioral and Mental Health:
BSN, Bachelor of Science in Nursing required
Current Georgia or Multi-State RN license
Professional Nursing Certification achievement within 1 year of hire
2+ years’ experience in management/supervisory role, preferred in healthcare setting
Experience working with pediatric and adolescent patients
Knowledgeable in children’s mental health disorders and treatment
