Responsibilities for the RN Nurse Manager Emergency Room:
- Oversee night shift for 18 adult bays, along with pediatric bays (50+ FTE’s)
- Promote compassionate care for every patient
- Implement process improvements to emergency and trauma department
- Ensure safety and compliance throughout emergency department
- Train and educate emergency nursing staff
- Act as liaison between nursing staff and hospital leadership
- Foster a supportive and positive culture among staff
Responsibilities for the RN Nurse Manager Emergency Room:
- BSN required
- MSN or related field required
- 5+ years of ED Emergency Dept nursing experience
- Current Nursing license in state of New York
- 2+ years emergency leadership experience
- Ability to motivate and inspire nursing staff
