Responsibilities of the RN Nurse Manager Ambulatory Care, Outpatient Clinic:
- Assist leadership to help transform Ambulatory Services to be “Best in Class”
- Promote compassionate care for every patient by on-the-floor staff
- Implement process improvements throughout ambulatory centers
- Oversee Ambulatory Care and Outpatient nurse staff
- Help bring education to unit nursing staff
- Mentor, train, and evaluate on the floor staff
- Provide critical care patient treatment expertise in certain cases
- Communicate kindly and respectfully with patients and families
- Collaborate well with physicians, nurses and hospital leadership
- New York State RN License
- BSN require; Masters Degree in related Healthcare Field preferred
- Proven leadership experience with demonstrated quality improvement results
- 5+ year’s experience in Ambulatory Care
