Responsibilities of the Nursing Bed Coordinator:
- Function efficiently as point person for emergency dept, PACU and admissions
- Assess and prioritize patient needs
- Create strategies to address bed demand
- Collaborate across departments
- Monitor and update bed blocks
- Ensure bed counts and nursing assignments are compliant and safe
- Efficiently coordinate patient bed assignments
- Maintain patient records
- Bachelor’s Degree BSN required
- Licensed Registered Nurse RN in the state of New York
- Previous Nurse Coordinator experience preferred
- BLS and ANA Certificates preferred
- 3+ years clinical experience preferred
