This new 100+ bed facility is committed to patient care, and has a positive trajectory that will continue to grow. This mental health facility treats both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric patients and seeks an established Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to serve the community.
 
This beautiful suburb is right outside of Indianapolis and conveniently located 15 minutes from the airport!
 
Responsibilities of the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner PMHNP-BC:

• Practice evidence-based psychiatric care for mental health patients
• Create individualized patient treatment plans
• Collaborate well with physicians, psychiatrists and other behavioral health staff
• Order testing, procedures and referrals as appropriate
• Prescribe medications as necessary
• Conduct psychiatric and medical evaluations

 
Requirements for the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner PMHNP-BC:

• Completion of a Master’s Program (Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner) from an accredited School of Nursing
• 3+ years of clinical experience in a psychiatric setting required
• Current Licensure as a RN Registered Nurse and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in the State of Indiana
• Experience in a start-up environment is desirable
