Responsibilities of the RN Nurse Cardiac Care Unit CCU/ICU
- Practice compassionate, evidence-based patient care
- Develop patient care plans
- Monitor patient progress
- Evaluate and treat CCU patients
- Administer medication as needed
- Communicate clearly and kindly with patients and families
- Assist doctors with treatment
- Ensure patient safety
- Ability to float to emergency department and crisis department
Requirements for the RN Nurse Cardiac Care Unit CCU/ICU
- Associate’s Degree Nursing Required
- BSN Bachelor’s Degree Nursing preferred
- ACLS preferred
- CPR and BLS
- Critical Care Unit Experience strongly preferred
- Current RN Nursing license in the state of Massachusetts
- ICU experience a plus
