Responsibilities of the RN Dialysis Registered Nurse
- Practice compassionate, evidence-based patient care
- Manage patient dialysis, hemodialysis processes from beginning to end
- Administer medication as needed according to patient chart
- Assess current patient scenarios and implement needed treatment
- Ensure patient safety through practices of regular check ins, met needs, and updated records
- Maintain sterile equipment using hospital appointed technique and procedures
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing Required; BSN Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Highly Preferred
- Current RN Nursing license in the state of Massachusetts
- CNN Preferred
- Certification in BLS required; Hemodialysis, Nephrology, or AACN certification is a plus
- 1+ years experience in critical care, such as ICU/CCU setting
- 1+ years experience in Medical Surgical, Dialysis, or related field preferred
