This bustling New York City hospital seeks a Nurse Manager who can bring strong leadership and quality patient experiences to a fast-paced psychiatric department.
 
This medical center is currently building a new, state-of-the-art Behavioral Health Services adult unit, making it a perfect time to get involved as it expands and grows.
 
Responsibilities for the RN Nurse Manager, Adult Psychiatry, Behavioral Health:
 

• Assist with oversight of mental health and behavioral health services and nursing staff
• Promote compassionate and evidence-based care for every patient
• Educate, train and mentor psychiatry nursing staff
• Evaluate and assess nursing staff
• Deliver expert psychiatric nursing care
• Maintain safety and compliance throughout behavioral health department

 
Responsibilities for the RN Nurse Manager, Adult Psychiatry, Behavioral Health:
 

• MSN, Master’s Degree Preferred
• Strong RN psychiatry experience required
• High EQ and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire nursing staff
