The nursing staff needs a MICU/SICU Nurse Manager to collaborate with the team throughout the multispecialty ICUs to improve and maintain high-quality patient care while facilitating consistent staff development.

The nursing staff needs a MICU/SICU Nurse Manager to collaborate with the team throughout the multispecialty ICUs to improve and maintain high-quality patient care while facilitating consistent staff development.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee MICU/SICU service line; Onboard, train, mentor, support, and facilitate nursing staff development
- Collaborate with the Critical Care Nurse Director to ensure compliance and evidence-based care throughout the floor
- Develop relationships with the staff and organize continued training programs and resources to encourage growth within the unit
- Adhere to operational and financial budgets, establishing fiscal accountability throughout the service line units
- Assist in compassionate communication with patients and families on treatments and health updates
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Nursing MSN required
- Current RN licensure in the state of New York
- Clinical nursing experience within the ICU, critical care, or Medical ICU
- Nurse leadership/management experience
