This growing, reputable hospital system offers the ability to make an impact and is seeking an Oncology RN Nurse Manager. A strong nurse leader is needed who can delegate nursing responsibilities and encourage evidence-based cancer care for every patient. This RN Nurse Manager will also oversee survivorship programs and provide support to the Cancer Institute’s leadership team.

Responsibilities of the RN Nursing Manager Oncology:

• Train, mentor and evaluate oncology nursing staff
• Encourage positive work atmosphere
• Produce clear and objective written reports
• Create and enforce written policies and procedures
• Identify areas for process improvement
• Collaborate efficiently across departments
• Ensure compliance and safety throughout the oncology nursing department

Requirements for the RN Nursing Manager Oncology:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required, Master’s Degree preferred
• 3+ years experience in supervisor role
• Proficiency with computer and ability to perform statistical analysis
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of New York
• Oncology Certification (OCN) preferred
• 5+ years direct nursing experience in oncology services such as infusion, chemotherapy, medical oncology, radiation oncology
