Responsibilities of the Assistant RN Manager ANM-MICU:
- Help oversee 15+ bed MICU
- Provide expert advice to nurses and compassionate care for critically ill patients
- Act as MICU assistant department leader; overseeing clinical and support staff
- Encourage RN staff development through CE and training sessions
- Collaborate with other departments to provide optimal levels of care
- Analyze processes and recommend ICU adjustments as necessary
- Create departmental goals and strategies
- Communicate with leadership to achieve MICU objectives
- MSN acquired or currently enrolled
- BSN Required
- Current New York Nursing License
- Current CCRN is a plus
- 2+ years experience in Critical Care/ICU required
- 1+ years of supervisory/management experience preferred
