Responsibilities of the Cardiac Telemetry RN Staff Nurse:

• Monitor cardiac patients’ blood pressure, oxygen saturation, heart rhythms, and respiration
• Utilize electrocardiogram and perform EKG and ECGs
• Closely observe patient vitals, looking for changes or abnormalities
• Interpret data and create care plans
• Follow detailed instructions from doctors and other nurses
• Maintain clean and sterile equipment
• Communicate respectfully with patients and families
• Ensure safety and compliance

Requirements for the Cardiac Telemetry RN Staff Nurse:

• BSN preferred
• Current Virginia RN License
• 1+ years RN experience
• Telemetry nursing experience a plus
