Responsibilities of the Director of Social Work, Behavioral Health:
- Oversee social services and day to day management of behavioral health center
- Manage hiring and training of new social workers
- Create and implement policies and improvements
- Promote health center and its offerings to the community
- Evaluate behavioral health program performance
- Ensure mental health programming meets the needs of the community
- Assist with fundraising efforts
- Work to uphold organizational goals
Requirements for the Director of Social Work, Behavioral Health:
- Master’s in Social Work
- Experience with Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA and patient rights
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- 5+ years social work experience
- Strong psychiatric experience
- Leadership or Director level experience preferred
