Seeking a Strategic Director of Quality and Risk Management for Innovative Behavioral Health Hospital

This progressive psychiatric hospital is seeking a Director of Quality and Risk Management to bring a unique perspective and strong leadership skills to their team. An ideal candidate would have an impressive ability to assess and improve healthcare systems and improve inpatient psychiatry. An ideal candidate has a clinical background in nursing or other related healthcare field, but this is not required.

Responsibilities of the Director Quality/Risk Management, Behavioral Health:

• Analyze efficiency, current processes and areas for opportunity
• Identify potential risks, develop resolution plans
• Work to achieve full regulatory compliance
• Ensure safety and hospital goals are maintained
• Collaborate and effectively communicate with healthcare staff
• Bring quality improvement recommendations and innovative ideas
• Maintain compliance and safety throughout hospital
• Assess areas for risk potential

Requirements for the Director Quality/Risk Management, Behavioral Health:

• Nursing or clinical background preferred
• 2-3 years’ experience behavioral health setting
• Knowledgeable in quality improvement
• Inpatient or outpatient psychiatric experience required
• Proficient in computer programs and business writing
• Knowledgeable in Joint Commission CMS regulations
• Expertise in state and federal laws
