Responsibilities of the NP Nurse Practitioner CTICU Cardiothoracic Intensive Care

• Assess patients physical and psychological state
• Diagnose and treat cardiovascular issues such as electrical, blood vessels, and heart disease
• Create care cardiac care plans and follow up on progress
• Act as a clinical leader
• Communicate well with patients and families
• Collaborate well with cardiothoracic team

Requirements for the NP Nurse Practitioner CTICU Cardiothoracic Intensive Care

• BSN Bachelor’s Degree Required
• APRN Required
• Licensed NP in New York
• 2+ years CTICU experience
• ANCC Certification required within 6 months
