Responsibilities of the NP/PA Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Hospitalist
- Manage patient care and complete night shift task list
- Practice evidence-based care for a variety of cases
- Create individualized patient treatment plans
- Collaborate well with physicians, patients, and their families
- Prescribe medications as necessary
- Conduct EKGs and other cardiac tests
- Order imaging, labs, and testing as necessary
- Must be licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse APRN or Physician Assistant PA
- 1+ years experience as a Hospitalist preferred
- 3+ years experience in professional nursing
- Comfortable being on the night shift and working autonomously
- Acute care experience required
