Responsibilities for the Nurse Manager IR Interventional Radiology/Vascular:
- Train and mentor Interventional Radiology staff
- Monitor and assess IR/Vascular patients
- Prepare patients for procedures
- Check vital signs, apply IVs and medications as needed
- Clearly instruct and explain procedures to patients and families
- Communicate effectively with hospital staff and promote a positive work environment
- Support hospital’s initiatives and goals
Requirements for the Nurse Manager IR Interventional Radiology/Vascular:
- BSN, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
- MSN, or Master’s Degree in a related field preferred
- Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of New York
- 2+ years of Nursing Management preferred
- ACLS Certification
- BLS Basic Life Support Certification
