Assistant Nurse RN Manager Critical Care ICU/CCU

Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 Annually
The ICU, Critical Care Assistant RN Nurse Manager is responsible for ensuring that the 25-bed ICU unit is running smoothly and effectively. The CCU/ICU Assistant Nurse Manager will have a patient-centered approach and lead the nursing team to ensure all aspects of critical care are being met.
In addition, the RN Assistant Manager Critical Care is responsible for mentoring new nurses within the Critical Care Department and liaising with consultants on patient management issues or concerns. The Ideal RN Assistant Nurse Manager should have BSN and CCRN.
The primary focus of this critical care unit is to provide high quality, consistent and compassionate care to every patient in the unit. The Assistant Nurse RN Manager Critical Care CU/CCU will work closely with the ICU Nursing Manager to ensure the unit meets the needs of the patients, families, and leadership.

Utilizes nursing knowledge, skills, and experience to provide high quality care.
Communicates with other team members regarding patient needs.
Maintains an organized and prioritized work environment.
Provides direct patient care and support to patients within a critical care area.
Manages the health care needs of adults in a critical care environment, including those who have been hospitalized or have been transferred from other areas.
Works collaboratively with physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other medical personnel to ensure continuity of care between departments and units.
Ensures that all required resources are available to provide safe and effective patient care.
Monitors overall quality of care provided and ensures appropriate documentation is maintained.
Evaluates effectiveness of care and identifies areas for improvement.
Provides education and training to Critical Care ICU nursing team
4 years of experience as a nurse in critical care ICU unit.
1 + year of experience in nursing leadership and management.
The Assistant RN Nurse Manager identifies areas that need improvement and determine how to improve those areas.
The ICU Assistant Nurse Manager will also train new nurses and manage staff.
