This Nurse Manager should be a proven leader with the skills to motivate their team to bring their best evidence-based nursing care to every patient.
 
 
Responsibilities of the Nurse Manager Labor and Delivery/Postpartum:

• Oversee Labor and Delivery and Postpartum nursing staff
• Ensure safety and best maternity nursing practices are implemented
• Hire, mentor, and train nursing team
• Work to uphold and achieve hospital goals and processes
• Analyze and create new L&D process improvements as necessary
• Introduce best practices and educational pieces to nursing staff
• Encourage compassionate and highest level of patient care provided

Requirements for the Nurse Manager Labor and Delivery/Postpartum:

• Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred, BSN is required
• Current Massachusetts Nursing License
• 5+ years Maternal Child nursing experience required
• 2+ years nurse manager experience preferred
