Responsibilities of the RN Registered Nurse Cardiac Surgery:

• Scrub and circulate on cardiac surgery cases
• Manage quality of care and medications for the cardiac patients
• Work collaboratively with staff, leadership, and surgeons
• Communicate clearly and kindly with patients and families
• Comfortable with ventilator and invasive tube management 

 
Requirements for the RN Registered Nurse Cardiac Surgery:

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Current New York RN License
• 2+ years RN experience
• Cardiac Surgery experience is required
• Experience with open chest codes is preferred
