Responsibilities of the RN Registered Nurse Operating Room

• Assist with surgical procedures
• Collaborate well with nurses and surgeons
• Monitor and assess perioperative patients
• Ensure sterile and safe working environment
• Follow detailed surgical instructions
• Provide evidence-based surgical nursing care
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients and families

Requirements for the RN Registered Nurse Operating Room

• Bachelor's of Science in Nursing BSN required
• Current RN license in the state of Illinois
• 2+ years of operating room experience required
• Orthopedic, perioperative or surgical nursing experience a plus
• Ability to arrive onsite within 30 minutes for on-call shifts
• Ability to work 1 weekend per month
