Responsibilities of the RN Registered Nurse Progressive Care Unit

• Monitor patient progress
• Create PCU intermediate/stepdown patient care plans
• Administer medicine, change dressings, check vital signs
• Assist physicians
• Document accurate patient health records
• Communicate respectfully with patients and families
• Ensure safety and compliance
• Monitor patient vital signs, change dressings

Requirements for the RN Registered Nurse Progressive Care Unit

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing Required
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Current Virginia RN License
• 1+ years RN experience
• Stepdown/PCU/intermediate care nursing experience a plus
