The ARRA Group, a boutique healthcare recruitment firm, has partnered with a Magnet-Recognized hospital to hire a passionate and dedicated Assistant Nurse Manager to join a progressive team in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). 

The PICU Assistant Nurse Manager who will excel in the role demonstrates patient-centered pediatric nursing care, engages staff to improve retention and employee satisfaction, and fosters a culture of kindness, nursing excellence, and accountability 

Responsibilities

• Assist the Nurse Manager in providing leadership and direction to the nursing staff, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and compassion.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to pediatric patients in the PICU.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, utilizing data and best practices to enhance patient outcomes and optimize efficiency.
• Assist in managing staffing levels, equipment, and supplies to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Advocate for the needs and preferences of patients and their families, ensuring that their voices are heard and respected throughout their healthcare journey.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing BSN
• Valid Georgia or Multi-State RN License
• Previous charge nurse, nurse coordinator, or assistant nurse manager experience
• Cilnical experience in critical care, ICU, PICU
