Position: Assistant RN Manager Operating Room, Surgical Services

Salary: $125,000 - 133,000 Salary + Full Benefits + Merit Increases + Annual Bonus Eligibility

The ARRA Group, a boutique permanent-placement healthcare recruitment firm, has partnered with our client to hire a team-oriented and aspiring RN Leader as their next Surgical Services, Assistant Nurse Manager.  

The Assistant Nurse Manager will provide crucial support to the Perioperative Nurse Manager in overseeing the operations and delivery of patient care within the Operating Room, Sterile Processing, PACU, and Endoscopy units. 

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Nurse Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the surgical services department, ensuring department and regulatory compliance
• Promote a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Support the recruitment, orientation, and training of nursing staff, ensuring their competence and commitment to delivering high-quality care
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and operational efficiency
• Assist in monitoring patient outcomes, intervening as necessary, and advocating for the highest quality of care
• Participate in performance improvement activities, such as audits, incident reporting, and quality monitoring
• Foster effective communication among patients, families, and the healthcare team, addressing concerns promptly and ensuring patient satisfaction

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Oregon RN Nursing License
• Clinical nursing experience in surgery, and operating room with demonstrated leadership capabilities
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
• Proactive problem-solving abilities and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment
