Responsibilities
- Coordinate with physicians and providers to create and execute individualized care plans for critical care, high-risk patients
- Provide direct patient care to individuals or groups of patients and lend yourself as a mentor for less experienced nurses
- Assist patients and their families in understanding the next steps through compassionate communication and patient education resources
- Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of new policies and procedures related to patient care
- Research and develop new treatments, programs, or resources to improve patient care alongside ED leadership
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Nursing MSN
- Current RN and CNS License in California
- Clinical experience in Emergency Department, Critical Care, or related field
- RN leadership/management/charge nurse experience
