The CT Technologist will be serving the needs of the immediate community and all of surrounding counties. Responsibilities for the CT Technologist:
- Operate x-ray equipment to make radiographs
- Take imaging of designated anatomic positions of the body
- Position the patient with the least amount of discomfort possible
- Produce images of a high diagnostic quality
- Educate and provide comfort for patients throughout process
- Send CT Scan images to be reviewed by radiology
- Report to the Radiologist and Imaging Manager for clinical purposes
- Encourage a collaborative and professional environment among patients and staff
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Preferred 1+ years of CT Scan experience
- Required Valid Maine License
- BLS Certification required
- MRI Certification required
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists registration (ARRT) required
- Ability to use multiple computer systems a plus
