Responsibilities of the RN Nurse Director Risk Management:
- Provide leadership to staff and direct all Risk Management activities within the hospital
- Manage claims, analyze risk data, and provide reports to leadership
- Conduct root cause analysis when needed
- Develop and promote patient safety goals of the organization
- Work to reduce areas of risk and improve quality/patient outcomes
- Implement new departmental strategies and goals
- BSN Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
- Current New York State License as a Registered Nurse
- At least 2+ years working as a Hospital Director of Risk Management
- Healthcare/Hospital Setting experience required
- BLS, ACLS required
