Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead Therapist in oversight of Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP)
- Collaborate with the Behavioral Health Clinicians to provide evidence-based group counseling sessions
- Conduct diagnostic interviews, administer psychological tests, and gather information from other sources such as family members or medical records
- Develop personalized behavioral treatment plans based on substance abuse, addiction, behavioral disorders, and various mental health issues
- Compassionately encourage patients to discuss emotions and experiences
- LCSW, LMFT, LPC, and LADC in the state of Connecticut
- Masters Degree Required
- Experience working with adult psychiatry
- Familiarity with Group Therapy
