Responsibilities for the Medical Laboratory Technologist MLT/MT
- Collect, process, and report testing on patient specimens
- Oversee quality controls and monitor lab testing to ensure all safety regulations are followed
- Monitor and report on all needed testing supplies for the laboratory
- Ensure all required and requested records, reports, statistics, logs, files, and other lab documents as completed and filed
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology/Laboratory Science or completion of a related Technician Program
- MLT or ML certification from the ASCP or equivalent registry
- Experience in a Medical Lab, Blood Bank, or related setting
