Responsibilities for the RN Coordinator IR Interventional Radiology/Vascular Services:
- Coordinate and supervise the nursing care provided to patients having vascular/interventional radiology, heart procedures
- Stay organized and maintain meticulous patient records and notes
- Follow up and track patient treatments and progress
- Implement the nursing process, staff development and enhancement of the quality of patient care
- Assist in compassionately explaining procedures to patients and families
- Communicate effectively with hospital staff and promote a positive work environment
- Support hospital’s strategic initiatives and goals
- BSN, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
- MSN, or Master’s Degree in a related field preferred
- Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of New York
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification
- 1+ years of Nursing Coordination preferred
