The Nurse Manager will supervise daily operations within the L&D and NICU, emphasizing the support of the nursing team to provide exceptional care to neonatal patients and their families while maintaining a kind and compassionate presence.

Responsibilities
- Supervise the workflow of staff and patient services in the Labor and Delivery and NICU floors
- Identify inefficiencies and devise plans to enhance patient experiences and meet team goals.
- Oversee staff development and onboarding procedures, encompassing recruitment, mentorship, and continuous performance evaluations.
- Investigate and design team-building initiatives that foster nurse retention and support evidence-based practice.
- Collaborate with the Maternal Child Health Nurse Director to assess, propose, and implement operational changes for L&D and Neonatal departments.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN; MSN preferred
- Current New York State RN license
- Advanced FHM Certification
- Nursing experience within an L&D, neonatal critical care, maternal child health, or labor delivery setting
- RN leadership/management/charge nurse experience
