The PACU nursing leadership team is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) ready to build a strong, collaborative team and grow professionally by working with nurse leadership to deliver on the department's goals.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Nurse Manager with the oversight of the post-anesthesia care unit and act as an example of high-quality nursing practices for the nursing staff
- Play a leading role in the development and execution of training programs for the PACU nursing team; Motivate staff with team-building exercises and compassionate communication
- Ensure reported post-patient care processes and care plans are executed, logged, and updated regularly in the Electronic Medical Record EMR system
- Coordinate with nursing leadership and staff on patient care plans and monitor plan deviations or abnormalities
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current RN License in New York
- 2+ years of clinical nursing experience in fields such as PACU, Post-Surgery, etc., Experience as a charge nurse, coordinator, ANM, or related position
