The critical care nursing staff at this academic medical center is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) who can bring positive collaboration while delegating equal responsibilities throughout the unit and encourage communication.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Nurse Manager with the oversight of the step-down unit and lead the nursing staff by example with evidence-based nurse practices
- Play a leading role in the development and execution of training programs for the cardiac nursing team
- Work to improve team collaboration and staff ratios, acting as a resource and educator for the staff
- Coordinate with nursing leadership and staff on patient care plans and monitor patient care plan deviations or abnormalities
- Work with the leadership team to improve key performance indicators for implementing new goals and policies
- Associate's Degree in Nursing ADN
- Current RN License in Ohio
- 4+ years ICU, Step-down, or related experience, 1+ years RN leadership/management/ charge nurse experience
