Responsibilities of the RN Nurse Critical Care/Stepdown ICU:
- Work collaboratively with other members of the Critical Care Unit, ICU and Stepdown Team to provide superb patient care, while improving patient outcomes
- Work to uphold all quality and patient safety metrics
- Act as a role model to other staff, and help to motivate other staff
- Clearly instruct and explain procedures to patients and families
- Communicate effectively with hospital staff and promote a positive work environment
- Support hospital’s initiatives and goals
- BSN Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing highly preferred
- Current New York State License as a Registered Nurse
- At least 2 years of ICU, Progressive Care, or Stepdown experience as a Staff Nurse
- BLS, ACLS required
