The team is seeking a strong Throughput Nurse Director with a background in patient flow and coordination to provide leadership in tracking, evaluating, and implementing solutions to improve the quality of placement and movement of patients.

The team is seeking a strong Throughput Nurse Director with a background in patient flow and coordination to provide leadership in tracking, evaluating, and implementing solutions to improve the quality of placement and movement of patients.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Patient Coordinators' and manage patient-centered care and forecast throughput/patient flow; Train, mentor, and lead the coordinating staff
- Strategically plan and implement a patient access improvement plan working in coordination leadership across departments to achieve quality outcome goals
- Evaluate and implement improvements for current throughput activities such as volume forecasting, patient flow coordination, and admission/discharge planning
- Report to the CNO of Patient Care Services about department improvement initiatives and collaboration across departments
Requirements
- Master's Degree MSN required
- Licensed Registered Nurse RN in the state of New York
- Clinical acute care nursing experience
- Knowledge of patient flow, throughput, bed coordination, or related field
