This Float Nurse position will provide care for patients in Crisis, CCU, CCSDU, ED & PACU.
Responsibilities of the RN Nurse Float Pool
- Provide patients with evidence-based nursing care
- Develop patient care plans
- Carefully assess and monitor patients
- Administer medication as needed
- Communicate clearly and kindly with patients and families
- Assist doctors with treatment
- Ensure patient safety
- Maintain a sterile working environment
- Follow compliance and safety regulations
- Associate’s Degree Nursing Required
- BSN Bachelor’s Degree Nursing preferred
- ACLS preferred
- CPR and BLS
- Current RN Nursing license in the state of Massachusetts
- Minimum 3+ years critical care or ED experience
