The ER Emergency Room nursing leadership team is seeking a Nurse Manager who can lead and mentor their team to develop a patient-focused culture in the department.
Responsibilities
- Oversee emergency department operations, including patient care plan administration and delegation of the nursing team responsibilities
- Manage, develop and mentor the Emergency Department nursing team
- Report to the Emergency Department ED Nurse Director to help create efficient workflows within the ED
- Collaborate with the RN Director to develop, manage, and utilize Emergency Room fiscal and operational budgets
- Assess current emergency patient service lines and implement improvements for the ratio of treated to untreated patients, reference system, and overall patient experience
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Licensed Registered Nurse RN in the state of NY
- Nursing experience in emergency medicine or related fields
- Clinical nursing leadership/management experience
