This outpatient dialysis center is affiliated with an outstanding, academic hospital and seeks a passionate RN Nurse Manager to join their collaborative team. An ideal candidate has experience in outpatient dialysis as well as excellent communication skills, the ability to delegate, solve problems and maintain positive relations among nursing staff.
 
Responsibilities for the RN Nurse Manager, Outpatient Dialysis Facility:
 

• Oversee dialysis nursing team
• Mentor and train nursing team
• Implement plans and procedures to improve patient care in hemodialysis unit
• Participate in decision making, leadership functions, and quality improvement activities that enhance patient care outcomes
• Collaborate with leadership to make process improvements and recommendations
• Motivate nursing team and lead by example
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients and families
• Provide nursing care to acute and chronic hemodialysis and end-stage renal disease (ESRD) patients
• Ensure compliance and safety throughout dialysis unit

 
Requirements for the RN Nurse Manager, Outpatient Dialysis Facility:
 

• BSN Nursing Degree
• Current Nursing license in state of New York
• High EQ and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire nursing staff
• 3+ years outpatient dialysis nursing experience
