Magnet Designated Medical Center Seeking Enthusiastic Stem Cell Nurse Manager
As a US News and World Report Best Hospital, the transplant team evaluates a patient needing advanced stem cell therapy procedures to treat hematologic (blood) cancers such as leukemia and lymphoma. The Nurse Manager will help oversee the CAR T-cell therapy program and maintain quality patient care.

This manager must hold the nursing team accountable, establish clear metrics, and maintain a collaborative, patient-centered team approach that achieves post-transplant success. The RN Nurse Manager of Apheresis and Stem Cell Transplants will not only manage the program but also achieve set goals with the partnership of the Hematology Chief and Director.
Responsibilities of the RN Nurse Manager, Apheresis and Stem Cell Transplant:
Oversee 6-bed apheresis and stem cell unit service line
Supervise 10+ nursing staff, including ANMs, coordinators, researchers, and educators
Create individualized patient care plans, including a variety of advanced stem cell therapy procedures to treat hematologic (blood) cancers such as leukemia and lymphoma
Manage and monitor patient statuses for autologous or allogeneic transplants
Collaborate with patient teams for referrals of patients for stem cell transplants
Partner with Hematology Chief and Director to create detailed plans for movement into a larger location, achieving transitioning to new technologies, and creating a transparent environment
Act as a liaison and resource between transplant RN staff, Hematology Chief, and CNO
Partner with Nurse Educators to create and implement engaging skill development content
Maintain FDA and FACT accreditation through participation in Quality Management Program from The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA)
Ensure compliance with regional, state, and federal regulations, including with The Joint Commission, throughout the Cancer and Oncology Unit floor
Requirements for the RN Nurse Manager, Apheresis and Stem Cell Transplant:
Master's in Science of Nursing MSN
Valid RN license in the state of Ohio
3+ years of nursing experience in CAR T- cell therapy, stem cell, apheresis, and/or BMT
CPR/BLS and ACLS required
Nursing Certification required (ONCC, BMTCN, or HSCT)
2+ years experience in nurse leadership/supervisory
Working knowledge of accreditations such as FACT is a plus
