Responsibilities
- Lead the recruitment, selection, and onboarding process for RN staff, ensuring a cohesive and skilled team
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching and support, and address any disciplinary matters promptly and effectively.
- Participate in strategic planning and goal setting for the surgical services department, aligning objectives with the overall organizational mission
- Report to the RN Director of Perioperative Services to monitor and analyze KPIs related to patient satisfaction, surgical volume, and operating room throughout
- Manage the budget for the surgical department, including staffing, equipment, and supplies, while ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources
Requirements
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing BSN
- Licensed Registered Nurse in State of Oregon
- Nursing experience in Operating Room, CVOR, surgical services, perioperative services
- Leadership experiences in roles such as an ANM, Supervisor, or Manager.
