The unit team is looking for a Nurse Manager to assist in delivering positive patient outcomes and achieving departmental goals with the support of a strong and collaborative CVICU team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the CVICU and the responsibilities of the unit team
- Lead achievement of unit goals through the motivation of staff, team-building exercises, and compassionate communication
- Manage the development and implementation of advanced training and education opportunities for the unit
- Assist the ICU/Critical Care Nurse Director in managing an operational and fiscal budget to ensure a cost-effective service line while maintaining high-quality care
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current RN License in California
- Clinical nursing experience in cardiac care, critical care, intensive care units such as CCU/ICU/CVICU
- Experience in a managerial or supervisory nursing role
