Responsibilities for the Home Health RN Nurse Manager:
- Identify and resolve any issues in clinical oversight, financial performance, and patient services
- Educate and train nursing staff to ensure regulatory requirements are maintained
- Participate in patient visits to provide both comfort and evidence-based care
- Lead professional practices consistent with the goals of safety and patient satisfaction
- Assist in fiscal budgeting and management processes
- Create and maintain patient care schedules
- Interview and hire outstanding team members to grow the service opportunities
- Create different strategies for talent retention on staff
- Coordinate, screen, and assess home care needs of referrals in the areas of nursing, rehabilitation and psychosocial
- Take vitals and draw for labs when necessary
- Assist with patient mobility
- Communicate respectfully with patients and families
- Required BSN Bachelor’s Degree Nursing
- 3+ years of clinical experience required
- 1+ years experience in home health needed
- 3+ years experience in supervisory or leadership role
