They are now looking for an experienced Labor and Delivery/Postpartum RN Nurse Manager to lead their department. Working on the day shift, the Nurse Manager will help enhance staff engagement and improve the overall quality of patient care.
This nurse leadership role will report to the Maternal Child Health Nurse Director and work closely with an Education Specialist. This labor and delivery department handles 600+ births per year and is looking for a passionate Nurse Manager to lead by example and maintain their outstanding patient care and safety.

Responsibilities of the RN Nurse Manager Mother-Baby/Labor and Delivery:
- Oversee Labor and Delivery and Postpartum nursing staff
- Ensure implementation of safety and best maternity nursing practices
- Hire, mentor, and train the nursing team
- Work to uphold and achieve hospital goals and processes
- Analyze and create new L&D process improvements as necessary
- Introduce best practices and educational pieces to nursing staff
- Encourage compassion and the highest level of patient care provided
- Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred; BSN is required
- Current Massachusetts Nursing License
- 5+ years of Maternal Child nursing experience required
- 2+ years of nurse manager experience preferred
