A RN Nurse Manager of the Operating Room and Surgical Services in this gorgeous coastal town is located within an hour drive of New York City and offers everything from parks and nature preserves to theatre life and breweries.
 
Responsibilities of the RN Nurse Manager Operating Room/Surgical Services:

• Oversee 9 Operating Rooms and RN staff
• Educate and develop nursing staff
• Collaborate with surgeons and surgical team
• Monitor patients, ensure quality care provided
• Evaluate staff, resolve any issues
• Continually introduce process improvements to advance OR team
• Encourage and facilitate staff training and development

Requirements for the RN Nurse Manager Operating Room/Surgical Services:

• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing required, Masters preferred
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association is required
• Current Connecticut Nursing License
• CNOR Certified Nurse preferred
• Prior nursing leadership experience preferred
• 3+ years operating room experience
• Nurse management experience
