Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the outpatient dialysis unit with the Assistant Nurse Manager, which includes; managing, hiring, mentoring, and evaluating the team on an ongoing basis
- Develop a partnership with the Nurse Administrators to research and create team-building activities that promote nurse retention and evidence-based practice
- Report to the Nurse Director of Outpatient Dialysis Services; support quality improvement initiatives and growth through the department
- Promote, educate and lead by example, the evidence-based nursing practices that will translate to improved patient outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Science of Nursing BSN
- Current Nursing license in the state of New York
- 2+ years of outpatient dialysis nursing experience; 1+ years of nursing leadership/supervisory experience
